www.fetishdatelink.com looks like a porn advert from the get-go, while this might not be a bad thing, but I don't find it very appealing. It does let you know what you're in for, and the site is all about kinky sex as the models on the sign-up page are dressed in high heels and corsets, there's even one licking a stiletto.
Once you sign up Fetish Date Link looks blocky and dated. The colour scheme is surprisingly pink with red and grey accents. What you can't help but notice is the hardcore porn adverts all over the screen. The ads take up over 50% of the page. So don't surf this site in public without an ad blocker!

Sign up is quick and easy on fetishdatelink.com, you can only sign up as a male, female, or a couple though, so it's not very friendly to anyone who doesn't identify that way. You will still need to fill in your profile, which has a variety of questions to answer (very dating site-like) but, they aren't particularly kinky.
Once I logged in to fetishdatelink.com, I found I could use all the features from browsing members, emailing and instant messaging. Finding my way around was easy; all the elements were simple to use.
Fetish Date Link doesn't have community features at all, and there are no forums or groups to join. The only way to communicate with others is privately by the internal email system or IMing, but if you want to group date, you're not going to get very far here.
The number of male profiles is very high, many of them seeking female Dominants. So, unsurprisingly, there are a lot of Femdomme profiles and not many submissive females. But are they genuine? Are there any Pro-Dommes? There's nothing to indicate if a profile is a professional or not but lots of them have model posed photos and advert sounding profile details. I'd be wary in interactions until you're sure the profile is genuine.
My first experience of Fetish Date Link gave me everything for free except 'live sex' in the top bar, which took me to a webcam site. You can view some for free, but mostly they're paid per minute, and it's not part of the site, it's an add-on which has nothing to do with dating at all! Especially as you have to provide your credit/debit card details even to view the free clips.
I got a strange feeling of deja vu pottering around the site. I think that's because it's the very same site as BDSM Date Link which I have reviewed previously. So, I decided to check out what it was like if I signed up as a male user.
Using the male profile a prompt to upgrade my account popped up anytime I tried to message or view profiles. So if you're male, you need to pay to do anything but send instant messages. A month's standard sign up is $29.86, and it is cheaper to buy several months or a year upfront. However, you might want to check if it's worth the investment before signing up at all.
The help page has all the standard questions from uploading photos to filling in profiles. However, the answers aren't very in-depth at all. There is a contact email you can use if you have any particular burning questions that need answering.
Fetishdatelink.com has its issues. Sign up with caution! As a guy, you can only use the IM feature, and as you can't check profiles, you have no way to know what the person is into to send a fun, flirty first message. I got several instant messages on my female profile, and none of them clicked with me because of that reason. There are better dating sites out there!
