I am new to being a sub for a mistress. Is it normal for them to want me to write on my body that i am owned by them?

If you’re not comfortable doing it then say that. If she doesn’t respect that then walk away.

Don't blame you not wanting to sign a contract but what a feeling being able to give up total control as an adult it's really something just knowing you'd find someone willing to be responsible for your care

Well its not that im oposed to signing a contract its the fact that the website she had sent seemed sketchy

I occasionally have my subs write on themselves in pen or lipstick. Nothing permanent unless it's agreed upon and waaaaaaaay down the road after years of committed relationship. As for a contract, I have one which is also for a committed relationship, because it outlines the expectations, responsibilities, hard limits, safe words/gestures for both parties involved.

it's common-ish in online play, but would you want to do this for someone you're not owned by

equally, what specifically is she asking you to write - as she may  be going to use that to try to verify somewhere

they can be a fun addition to a dynamic, or a good way to work out together how a dynamic is going to work.  However, they are not legally binding - they are just for *play*

yeah, scam

The writing is normal, but no neither of those things are.

The contract and signing up for a website are tools for scammers.

Don't ever do that. :P
