In some pubs (where i grew up) if you wanted a quick shag, you put *** (the folding type) under your glass like a beer mat. It signalled a drink in return for a quick one out back. whilst out there the barman would take the *** and when you got back the other person got a drink from it and the barman kept the change. But. I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of Ladies who'd been around long enough to have seen both.
