Stick bondage

been seeing photos of women with their hands tied in front of them and a long pole pushed through behind their backs to restrict movement even further.  Does anyone know what this is called? assuming it has a special name I can't spot it on here, and does anyone have any advice on how to do it properly. Thanks

the sticks are usually bamboo poles.  

there's techniques involving them sometimes come up in shibari books (though, not in the ones I own, but certainly ones I've seen) they're often a favourite at ***r rope workshops, which are of course sadly long grassed

however, like a lot of things - if you can understand the basics and safety of rope work, it's not massively complex to tie to objects as well as people (or, people as well as objects)

I believe it might fall under predicament bondage but I could be wrong,  Not everything has a specific name and might just fall under a wider catagory

Kinbaku means "tight binding," while Kinbaku-bi literally means "the beauty of tight binding." Kinbaku is a Japanese style of bondage or BDSM which involves tying a person up using simple yet visually intricate patterns, usually with several pieces of thin rope.

can't find it under this, but thanks for the hint, I'm in love with some of the things I have seen under 'Predicament Bondage', what I was asking about doesn't really seem to fit in here since the sub isn't ***d to choose between which ouch they want at the moment, it just seems to be a different form of bondage

thanks for all your suggestions, as always, nothing matches yet but I'm having fun following up on the suggestions which is great and makes it defn worthwhile starting this post.

It is strange given how common it is in bondage magazines that it doesn't seem to have a specific name, or indeed seems so difficult to find with online searches

yay, got some thanks, although most are of the sort where the damsel in peril is bound to a stake as if awaiting burning or sacrifice to the monster coming out of the woods
