A poem trying to capture the indescribable beauty of an unexpectedly strong  connection.

 

The Dance of the Mixed Metaphor.

As we start the dance,
That leads in to play,
Subtle language changes,
But not what we say,

The slight shift in tone,
You highlight you’re mine,
I dance over your triggers,
And so quiet your mind,

Then we seem to sync,
Almost two becomes one,
Time starts to dilate,
As we get in the zone,

The connection empowers,
The union unfolds,
Together as one now,
We fuse in our roles,

Riding waves of pleasure,
Bursts of bright ***,
We surf the crest together,
Ending arm in arm again.

Well I like your juxtaposition of bold an bald it sent be off on whole tangents.

 

There is the Latin line from Ovid that states "fortis Fortuna adiuvat" or as we tend to translate it Fortune favours the Bold.

There is a line from Democritus to "Boldness is the beginning of action, but fortune controls how it ends."

I think the second is my favourite.
