qu**** Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Isn't it funny we are all attracted to looks, habits, attitudes and such completely unaware that on a genetic level at least body odour plays a huge part, on a sub-conscious level this plays a large part in attraction, but is usually masked by sprays and such, but you're more likely to find a perfect genetic match this way, oddly though, it isn't in a wow you smell great way, just you don't notice it. I've experienced this, a best friend of mine( used to be intimate, but our friendship was more important), well she had a spell of using men how she'd been used, I digress, but a couple of times men said you're great, but I don't like your body odour, this was something I'd never noticed, even after she told me this I never noticed this, still dont, and I'm not saying this from a kink/fetish/BDSM perspective, but just a thought
Deleted Member Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Attraction includes all senses. You like the person's appearance, voice, and smell. Later touch, and even taste. It's nothing really deep, it's just another part of the complete attraction.
Leisa Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 I know for me if a man smells great it enhances the attraction just like on the opposite end of the spectrum if I perceive a man to smell he could be GQ and I would still walk away.
qu**** Posted August 12, 2020 Author Posted August 12, 2020 Attraction would include all senses if we didn't mask body odour with expensive sprays, granted from a day to day perspective it can be necessary, but from an *** perspective, which we are, it helps attract an ideal mate genetically
Deleted Member Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 I have very poor smell and can’t wear any perfume either. Although no man has been bothered. A friend also suggested that the way someone tastes is an indicator of a genetic match. For me that’s been VERY accurate. 🧐

ol**** Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Smell, taste, looks. All have an impact but so does context. I have in my time been in situarions where I've been less than fresh. Maybe fresh from the fight might be a more accurate picture of what I'm getting at. Somehow rhat often seems to override normal sensibilities. (Appologies to Bonny Tyler.)
He**** Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 My husband never wore any fragrance or deodorant, to me he smelled like sunshine. Sunshine is when you hang clothes out to dry and it's the dried in the sun smell. Whenever I smell that it reminds me of him, it's a nice memory.
