New Dom seeking events or gatherings to learn

I have long had dominant tendencies but have only just found an experienced sub that is truly comfortable with my inexperience.

I am aware that there are great differences between the fantasies I have held, and my current skill set.
I am hoping to find BDSM clubs, dungeons, or events where I can meet like minded people that can more appropriately immerse me in the role I wish to play.
My partner and I have already had a number of serious, open discussions about safe words, limits, and expectations.
I am okay taking a very long time to grow past my 'newbie' stage, but would like to actively start improving my skills and understanding.

The major problem I am running into is that there seems to be very little resources in my entire state...or perhaps I am so new, I am not even searching correctly.

Can anyone recommend a decent place in Maine to begin my journey?

So. I did a little few searches for you (this isn't passive, I've a slight advantage on knowing where to look!) and a big problem is Maine is somewhere else kinda hit by covid, I found some attempted in-person events which have been cancelled due to a spike

I don't know if you'd be happy with Virtual Munches?  They're online on sites like Zoom.  There's one actually tomorrow. (also one on Sunday, but that's a TNG munch, so for under 35s)

So, now my grumble... the links and password are all on Fetlife.  Which is frustrating - but, c'est la vie - you can basically search Maine, then look at 'events' and the virtuals are there with the weblink and password.  Someone on there might be able to give you a bit of a wider idea of what is/isn't about.
