Kinkyjim199 Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 As the title says, what exactly is munch?
LanceH Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 A munch is a gathering, often in a public place that serves food. Hence "munch" .... But it can be held in a private setting as well.
TempName Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Its a safe place to meet and eat from what I understand. This way no pressure before going to a main event likely happening afterwards.

ey**** Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 to give an idea the very simplest when I first became aware of munches Going back 20 years.... We had a fetish event, once a month, on a Thursday. Mobile phones were fairly basic then. No real group chats. So on... So, the Sunday before the fetish event there was a munch. And, not everyone who went to the fetish event went to the munch (and not everyone who went to the munch, went to the event) but generally it meant people could talk informally and have a get-to-know-you with other people who would be attending. Newcomers who were scared at the concept of walking into a dark room with everyone in fetishwear, could meet people more casually. People could discuss and plan scenes, play and equipment so they could decide what to bring. Whilst, these days, a lot of this is now obsolete. A lot still remains.
Ta**** Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Well spelt backwards I.e. it spells CHNUM. Which if you take the N out it spells...CHUM. So it must be a place to make chums right! As for the odd one out, the N, well you get the Nutters in every group. Deserves to be thrown out. 😁
