Soundtracks..

Not the musical kind, what I'm talking about, are the sounds that assail the senses, those that accompany really good play sessions, or fabulous sex.

Think for a moment of the soundtrack of shoeplay for example, it's one of the few fetishes, that can provoke an instant image from a sound alone, the sound of a heel clacking on a hard floor, or of a shoe being removed from a nylon clad foot, perhaps that gentle creak as a patent leather stiletto is dangled teasing the observer...

Or, it could be the delightful swish, or whoosh from a cane or crop, the crack of a whip, or the whack of a paddle..or simply simply the vocalisations of the one receiving the attention you give, their moans of pleasure or satisfaction, perhaps of *** or arousal?

Is there a sound that appeals directly to you, or do you prefer to drown out those sounds with music or is there another soundtrack you prefer?

I'm not one for banging music or even light background music myself either during play, for sex sometimes, but for me, never playtime.. We were discussing it in chat the other night, this post is in part inspired by that, only myself and one other..(I won't name her as I haven't asked her permission to), had a preference for none/minimal.

The belt is a sound people my generation may well remember from school discipline, no doubt adding extra layers of nuance for some of them.. that jangle rattle noise is unmistakable..

Muffled screams, or moans, do it for me too..

That sound of urinating can, so I'm told, be very intense, though I suspect a whisper of intent beats most other things hands down..the last time I whispered "mine" for example, such a simple word, the poor guys knees actually buckled..

If there *is* music - I prefer it to be rather ambient or atmospheric.  A selection of stuff I like, or dislike, could be distracting.  Though, getting in the groove to beat someone to a favourite can be good, but, has it's flaws also

Definitely prefer music with no lyrics IF its playing at all, I'm quite partial to a little classical music occasionally, that can have some wonderful crescendo moments for that groove you mention

Thanks for sharing, I think people may, if they stop and think about it be more aware of sounds than they realise..either as a turn on, or a indeed a turn off.

Very true. As much as a certain sounds are a turn on for me, I have a much larger list of sounds that drive me insane in day-to-day life. Have to take the bad with the good, I suppose.
