Checking the Boxes Part 1

She was terrified, excited, nervous. She was a ball of energy and nerves. Tonight she was going to dive into a different world for the first time. When she was younger, she had had a very bad experience. It shaped her in so many ways. Over time she had experimented with many kinky things. But never all together. She had learned to make a list and check all the boxes. She never wanted to relive that experience, it scarred her for so long, but somehow it had made a grip on her and wouldn't let go. Tonight there was a difference, she could always stop it if it became too much, supposedly.
She had lucked her way into the community by chance. For a while she had been a wallflower, a looky-loo. Terrified at what she had seen done to various women and men, but terribly excited, wondering what it would be like if it was her. Then she had met him. First thing that attracted her, he didn't make demands of her right away. He treated her like a person. Not an overblown, hormone filled boy like she was used to, but a man who thought and made use of his brain and manners. While he wasn't Brad Pitt, or a super-muscled Dwayne Johnson... he wasn't Quasimodo or the school book nerd either. Check.
She had taken the time to talk to him and get to know him for several weeks. They talked at events, on the phone, by Zoom . He had learned a lot about her too. Check.
They had had a few dates in public. He was always a gentleman, taking care to look out for her. He also always had that little sense of being reserved, like he was holding something back. She was afraid of bringing it out, and yet at the same time wanted to see and feel what would happen. Check.
They had talked about tonight. He had given her a general idea of what would happen. He dressed that, general. The momentum of a scene could change its action. He was respectful, and took great ***s to explain things to her. He also made sure she understood the necessity of safe words. He made sure that she understood what might happen, and how she could stop it if it was too much. Check.
Tonight was going to be very different for her. She wasn't going to just try a little something different with the bottom of the night. Tonight she was doing her first full scene. And she was doing it in front of people. It was a big step, but tonight she was going to check a lot of personal boxes, not just her relationship boxes.
She was completely dressed and ready. Makeup, light jewelry, a nice black dress, and heels. She had a bag packed with everything she needed to bring. The phone rang, it was him. It was time to go. She got her things and headed for the door. Check.
