Getting started?

Very basic question and one that i am sure has been asked before but .......when you are not ready for clubs etc (as you don''t know anything) and you don't really know anybody to guide you - what do you do?

Asking questions is a good place to start. You can do some research online. You could have a look through our magazine here, as there's loads of useful, informative articles in there around BDSM and fetish.

Also, don't be afraid to go to events, the best way to learn is to go and ask questions to people at the clubs/munches etc. Don't be afraid to do that. You don't have to join in with everything from your first visit. Going to check out a place and ask questions/make friends is a great place to start.

there is nothing to worry about going to club or venues. people are friendly and ready to help if needed. Its also very safe environment, there are strick rules in place for kinksters to feel comfortable.

if you don't know anybody - meet people.  Munches in a local area are often a good starting point.
