TV and other media does influence some of us by a type of hypnosis. You could say it's a mix of subliminal and non-subliminal  information where the success is due to repetition.

This has never been so blatant as during ongoing lockdown shenanigans.

A sub-topic of discussion could be on the ethics of this. Is it actually non-consensual ?
