Don’t want to hear it! Almost every Woman on this site claim to be subs! (Whether they are “real” or not I don’t know)! Try looking for a Female Domme! Now that is looking for a needle in a haystack, also weeding through the scammers and “FinDommes”!

You are having the same experience as me @Chastity_slave1962. Also have experienced scammers and Findommes. Seems that sincere Dom’s and subs are battling to find each other. Just a suggestion is perhaps those of us still searching could meet in an open thread specifically to match us up (Dom’s/Dommes and subs) ?

Real submissive here, in search of a Dom. Of which there are plenty about, luckily for me. Or maybe not so luckily. Means I've kissed a lot of frogs (and done some other things in the name of research) and still been left disappointed. Because we're all searching for the right fit, and that's hard to find. Those who are fishing in an even smaller pond have my sympathy, but I think it's worth the wait because I know how it feels to settle.

The original question was why is there a lack of subs?
Another label, as a person is more than the tendencies of their particular kinks. There are “subs,” on this site, and I have even met a few “subs” from here and had some amazing experiences. But these (in my case) women where more then just subs.
You have to build trust with each person, and communicate, and there is a lot of actual work that a person has to do to gain that trust, it’s not just freely given, especially for the ones worth the time.
Time is the key. You have to spend time to complete any worthy endeavor.
I read all the comments above, many friends of mine commented, and they provided really good suggestions and insight.
My only advice would be to show patience, if you are here for something “special” you will not find it by forcing it.
Instant gratification is not the way of a Dominant.
