A seemingly odd question

Normally when I go to bed and stretch out my feet are on the bed, head is by headboard, in the morning through muscle relaxation my feet hang over the edge a bit, head still by headboard, recently I've noticed on occasions when I go to bed, head in the same place but when I stretch out my feet overhang the bed, any thoughts?  Said it was an odd question.

At 5’10” you shouldn’t be overhanging the bed at all if you are actually “near the headboard” but I assume that can mean up to a half a foot away?

During the day, depending on how much you are up and moving and the activities you partake in - your spine compresses slightly, your muscles tighten, etc…

When you sleep, your body relaxes and the compression is relieved. Hence the seemingly strange overnight growth.

Yes I'm well aware of that, but as a say it's when I first get into bed I've noticed on occasssion my feet are over hanging the end, which they never used to,and I have experimented with positioning to see if it's "just me", but it is definitely occurring, mind you mums always said I'm weird 😂
