I don’t care for off-putting names either. Anything with a sex act in the user name is just - no thank you, especially where some kind of *** is implied. I’m not a fan of the more ‘Satanic’ (ahem) ones, but that’s their lookout; and anything with 69 or 420 is (how shall I put it) probably not going to have the maturity of mind I’m seeking.

Totally agree, this one was Hotcock or Something along those lines.

Interesting.  Back in the pre-internet days, titles like "Master" or "Lord" where only used by those in the professional ranks.  In fact, the titles were more "bestowed", rather than assumed.  It was pretty-much tradition.

Of course, a professional would not be the one attempting to initiate contact.  In more informal settings, like a "munch", they would just use their scene name, without the title.

This is one of the reason the titles and roles don't appeal.  Anyone can use any title with no experience or anything. Being "bestowed" is at least some acknowledgement from the community that there is some validity/experience to the title. With a title like "Master" I want to see a full resume on what you have mastered and how. LOL. I know that's not how the term is used exactly, but still that what it triggers in my mind...
