Trying to find events while dodging family

Hi everyone been a while since I posted but I’ve been pretty active in kink and femdom via discord servers for about a year and a half now and after taking a step back from things with my first Miss and deciding we where better off as just friends. Decided I would love to try and pursue something irl, as well as just make some friends who are in my area. I’m starting to look around and see what events are out there around the city or out by me on the island, but it’s pretty nerve racking to be honest and tough to get a feel for what might be good to just get my feet wet in the community irl and meet people to start, especially cause I’d be going by myself.

Another and probably the bigger concern however is my home situation... due to paying off college loans and high cost of living in my area I still at home with my family and they are not supportive of this part of myself at all. (Got a 3 page typed letter from my mother when she found out and I tried talking to her about it all) so I would have to find a way to find an event and dodge them asking too many questions about it.
