Fairly new and looking to get essentially a starter pack what should I get and where from

It depends really on what you want to start to do

There are "beginners kits" available quite easily and cheaply online and even in places like Ann Summers, but they're... very... a mix of you get what you paid for and very odds and ends.

It might be an idea, if you don't know what you want, to attend a fetish event, you can book taster sessions with the House Domme (frequently for no fee) and experience different types of impact toys for example, though depending on your role and kinks this may, or , may not be appropriate for you personally..fetish markets also often have demos so if you see something your interested in you can see it in action and speak to the participants afterwards, and some markets..pre covid..would allow you to hold a "toy" to test weight, balance, hand fit and such like.

I'd personally suggest not going mad and buying everything you think you might want, firstly because you'll be tempted to buy cheap, and whilst there's exceptions, usually cheap and cheerful are badly made from inferior materials and are difficult to clean..and secondly you'll buy loads of stuff you'll never use, or try once and it ends up being a false economy.

The starter kits you find on sextoy sites like LoveHoney or Bondara  usually consist of a blindfold, a ballgag, a cheap pair of fake leather cuff restraints, sometimes ankle ones too, a flimsy collar, and a paddle of some sort..and the quality is shite..much better to work out what you may need and go grow your own kit based on your needs..shop around, don't rely on speciality shops either there's tons of makers out there, a lot offering tutorials to make your own stuff too which is always an option if you've craft skills.
