lolli-leigh Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 The craving is real, the desire to please, the desire to control, the desire to feel, the desire to care, the sexual pleasure, the need to feel or cause ***. BDSM is filled with emotions and whether you want to escape them or feel them, they cloud our judgement on what we really need. This is why we must pause, reflect and grow. In a world full of easy access to others views of what we should be doing in our lives, Dynamics etc, it can be easy to get lost in the world of BDSM. First and foremost BDSM is about our mindset and development of ourselves and our dynamics. In a world full of instant gratification, there is nothing wrong in pausing. Take time for yourself and be calm. Love to all x
Deviant_Ric Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Well said. Patience is becoming increasingly lost in a world of instant gratification; yet to pause is to appreciate the beauty, soak in the ambience, absorb the subtlety of the unspoken, feel each other’s breathing and heartbeat, allow the time for two (or more) to become as one. It is all too easy to ‘get to the good bit’, but we miss so much in doing so.
Re**** Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Yes. Slow down. Pause. Breathe. Feel. Soak in the sights and smells and sounds… gaps of no sensation are important contrast!
sm**** Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Yes it can be like entering the candy shop, with so much "seemingly" on offer in the online world, people can rush in without a pause, and actually not taking the time to experience things in depth and just brush across them superficially.
whenwetalklikethis Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 I agree absolutely…you don’t need to gorge in the sweet shop as you will surely be sick and if you allow other people to choose your clothes for you don’t be surprised if you end up looking like someone other than yourself. Be true to what you desire and if the other cannot give you that don’t blame them or criticise - just move on. You will find the one that sees you, do not settle for less x
Vi**** Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 Perfectly put, it's so east to get lost down the rabbit hole
