BDSM-aware couples counsellor?

They do exist apparently - after a bit of Googling I found this link:

https://www.counselling-directory.org.uk/memberarticles/how-to-find-a-kink-aware-or-bdsm-friendly-counsellor

Which includes the following link to how to find one:

https://www.ncsfreedom.org/key-programs/kink-aware-professionals-59776

Obviously I can't verify them based on a Google but hope it helps

Maybe pinktherapy.com?  They are a sort of directory site.

Maybe a trusted disinterested friend on here. Therapy is sbout talking, good therapists don't provide solutions mostly they ask open questions. They help you find solutions.

Also TheKinkShrink on the Fet site that is black and red

You are talking about a lady called Deb?

Is she still in practice?

Her web site returns a 404 error.

I'm sure that's her name...if it's the same lady still's still really active on the other site, holds a webinar each week, and posts regularly. May have changed the website?

Maybe best if she is still in practice to get her to put a profile on here?

It took me sometime to figure out which was predictive text. No we all know one of your favourite, go to, D words and it couldn't have been more apt for this site/funnier 😂😂😂

I spoke to Deb, she no longer bothers with a website and she has no space and a waiting list.

She has said she would recommend Scenecouncellor (fetlife) or that name with a UK website ending.

there isn't special licensing for this so you're looking for a good counselor with BDSM experience. I'm a psychiatrist with yrs of bdsm experience but there are counselors, social workers, psychologists, etc. with lots of bdsm experience who will understand the scene & not be judgemental. R.

Just to point out, social workers in the UK have a very different remit to those in the US the job roles are not alike at all
Just in case anyone thinks of approaching a UK SW 121😉
