My first recommendation is Deb of Vipers. It’s definitely dark and has triggers. Also I’ve read the 4 horseman series and I agree with @kinky_kat it’s *chef’s kiss*

There’s an obvious Dune joke to be made about the thread title. That notwithstanding I reread the Joe Orton Diaries recently and next up is Venus in Furs (NGL when I hear the name I think of the velvet underground song). Since Den of Vipers seems to be getting a good write up I must check that out.
