Curious to know the community's opinion on this topic. I've experimented variety of BDSM and kinky fetishes, mainly as sensual play while married. I'm single and ready to join the community.

Some things I loved and want more; some I want to try again, and a few I didnt like. There's so many more to try.

When writing your profile, is it better to just say you're an 'experimentalist' or 'kinkster' OR to pick tags for the things you enjoyed or are most interested in?

The first feels too vague and the latter feels like I'm coming across more experienced than I am. Recommendations?

I like to talk about my bucket list, or things that have really turn me on nowadays. Idk if it helps but I personally don’t like being out into a box or ascribed a very specific label

There is the option of
'I like' and 'im curious'
You can put the things you have tried and liked and the rest as curious and want to try.
You can add as many role tags as you feel you are 😊
People that are actually interested will read the profile, others will ignore it and message reguardless (they become very obvious)

Elaborate to your specifics in your profile text and don't be boxed in to anyone else's definitions. Update frequently as you discover new curiosities.

It also has the benefit of acting as a filter, since you'll be able to tell who's actually investing the time in reading your profile before you invest your energy. Good luck!

I've made it obvious in my profile text on FetLife that I'm not very experienced. So I've listed my interests under fetishes as what I know I'm into, what I'm curious about and what i wouldn't do.

I like tags AND a list of tried/wanna try/don't like. There is such a huge variety of kinks, fetishes, roles, and practices. It helps to narrow it down for potential partners to find you (if they bother to read your profile *fingers crossed* )
