It's gatekeepers imposing their will on nonmagical folk that's the real rub.

@LittleDragonSabrinaHow I think the craft works, and it's just a personal philosophy, not saying it's right or wrong, is I believe we use our willpower to influence future events and change our reality. Be it one second or a lifetime in the future. The different practices and rituals and what have you is our way of 'tricking' our subconscious into applying our willpower as we desire. Just because willpower cannot be quantified yet, doesn't mean it's not a thing.
As far as the Divine Demonic, or angels, leprechauns, goblins, faires, k-pop bands....they are extra dimensional beings in my opinion. As we are to a 2 dimensional stick figure drawing, they are to us.
