I can tell you as a model, legally, there has to be an active, written consent form to publish someone else’s image on your site or profile. Their image belongs to them unless they give written permission for it to be used by another. It violates copyright infringement laws. Just my two cents…

What if that person does give consent? Can they later withdraw that consent?

it depends on the wording of the contract

but there does have to be a written release form

Consent is prerequisite, essential and should be updated

I think if the relationship is over the pictures should be a non issue and not used again or at least ask the person in question if they can be. If they gave consent and later withdrew consent, a decent human being would listen and not use the pictures.

Not at all. That’s actually a pretty messed up thing to do.

Yes, they can. Consent can be given and withdraw at anytime without any explanations. Consent, submission, commitment and TPE is given by love, desire not by *** or by ***.

You can't give consent to something you haven't even been told about in the first place.

If your pictures, but to be more specific use for what exactly? What were the agreements in these pictures?

Have you not read the original post?

Ex dom using photos of her without her permission.....

That has feck all on consent permission etc when being dom/sub.....

Absolutely not. That is a *** of consent. If I ever intended on posting images of a submissive they shared with me, images they sent me, or even photos of messages I’d be sure to get explicit permission to do so.

Again, how are they being used? Everyone is assuming and theres is no specifics. Are they using it to masturbate, onlyfans, for their Dom profile to show past experiences, or something else. Also what were ya'lls agreements on pictures taken and how do you feel about whats happening?

Thank you for commenting on my post as far as pics go when we where in the dynamic I agreed to pics however when it was over he agreed to delete all pics when I found the pics on his profile it took a while for him to take them down. As far as how it made me feel I feel unsure of trying out a dynamic again but that’s my fault for trusting

There should be no delay it should have been immediate. You broke up then all content that has you should have been removed if you given no permission for his continuing public use.

That is 100% not your fault for trusting but I feel exactly where you are coming from. It is COMPLETELY his fault for violating your consent and ergo breaking any trust you had.

I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through this xx

He clearly is not a person to be trusted, but that’s all great in hindsight. His actions regarding the photos were unacceptable. If the relationship is over (D/s, romantic, friendship) and consent is not given or revoked, you’ve no right to continuing to use someone else’s pictures! Why would he even want too if you’ve broken up anyway!

Well it feels like you answered your own question. If you requested for the pics to no longer be displayed in public or deleted then yes its wrong to keep using them in that fashion.

As far as who's fault it is, again i dont have enough information to give an opinion of who's fault or who takes blame. But trust is very important in any relationship as well as clear communication and respect.
