What are your thoughts on the origins of desire

Some biological instincts, many social constructs, possibly psychological factors. Overall our very subjective perception/understanding of reality.

Curiosity of the unknown and supposedly taboo

That's deep man.. why do you ask? Is desire what brought you here? It's hard to describe desire without personal explanations of the experience of desire. The definition is a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen, but it's a lot deeper than that. It comes from our primal instinct, to want for pleasure. It really depends on your state of consciousness. Desire is a trap, Desire is the Creator, Desire is the Destroyer, Desire is the Universe. That applies to the physical, astral, and casual planes. You have to give up desire, only then will you experience the bliss of it all. Desire for me; to live my life, to share knowledge and blissful experiences with other people while I'm here, to explore every human experience I can, to learn, to grow. To let go. To not desire but to direct my will toward experience, and see where life takes us.

From deep within our soul’s blue print. The fire of creation and the vast depths of possibility, divined from oneness and all that is, dance inside our sacral.

Yearning is the urge of manifestation. It is the mother of motion, the first sign of life. Desire is originated in a void that is created after the first sentient thought. As soon as you are aware of yourself, then you learn to yearn for more knowing. Desire is the mother of life.

Wow that is deeply philosophical and almost spiritual

From your soul - it’s uncontrollable - takes over your total body and wants nothing more than satisfaction

Desiree comes from within. It's a great feeling because you have the belief that what you want is within your reach. But 99% of the time it's just your imagination playing 1 off the many tricks it has learned to play.

Great question and I expect it has every person who reads it, 'thinking to themselves' about it.

It is definitely something natural that is within us, deep within us.......

Electro chemical pathways in the brain cause desire... Pathways are created during our childhood and early adult experiences

I had a girl cheat on me when I was younger and used to get off by myself after thinking of her with the other guy and to eroticize the *** I think. So since then I’ve always fantasized about a threesome like that. Weird kinda but that’s what I traced it back to

Hormones, then past experiences and what inherently turned you on as a younger adult, then fetishistic dreams and aspirations.

you can discover your desires from all kinds of experiences.
Be good or bad.
That was a good example.
And i aplaud the fact you where able to see the good aspect of a really bad event.

I think for me desire comes from having what l know l cannot or should not have! Does it stem from childhood and others opinions on what l should n shouldn’t have and wanting to challenge that authority! Absolutely making me a rebellious brat and a switch not content with the sweetie jar but wanting the god damn shelf because you said l couldn’t! Does that make me blind when it comes to what’s staring me in the face possibly but wisdom will either lead you towards or away from your desires based upon your personal *** factor and if you don’t have any then you could end up chasing the dragon 🐉 instead of entering it…..Desire beware a tale to the cautionary!
