How successful are people here in making connections?

I feel like I've been on the app a while and come across mainly fakes or scammers with fewer real people actually interested in connecting.

I haven't tried any group meet ups but will likely in time.

I noticed a more active community based out of the UK.

I too have noticed this and it sucks especially when you live in a small town and even trying to munchs and things like that are hard to find. Then some of People on here act like they never did a stitch of research they just jumped in thinking that because I am a submissive that I will just do what they say off rip or I will tell them my kinks without getting to know them or me first it can be frustrating.

I'm relatively successful but I generally am diverse and don't just put all my stock in one site.

A lot for some depends on how you define success - but - I am aware there are many people who were on this site who found a relationship (either mono or poly) and then of course subsequently left the site as they had found what they came for.

I think it's a shame more don't stick around - but hey ho.

It’s a challenge. There are a lot of bots on here. Report profile you think is bogus. The few people who talk on here, tend to be mostly talk. Scammers a plenty with the occasional only fans troll.

I wouldn't say successful, I've had one meet to develop some kinks. But I find it hard to even hear back or people.

There’s a lot of guys here who don’t seem to have a clue, and as has been said, see a “sub” and think it’s ok to be a Neanderthal.
On the flip side, there are a lot of “mistresses” who are anything but and want to freeload.
Of course there are genuine people, I just think patience, perseverance and a degree of scepticism is required.

Their are a lot of fakes and scammers on this app, but isn't that for almost any app or site these days. It was little disheartening for me until I found my new sub on here. It's still early and it's long distance, so I'll know more after we meet in person in a few weeks. But it seems hopefully because like me, she's been in the lifestyle since she was a ***ager and that helps so much since we both know exactly what we're looking for. Now as eyemblacksheep put in his comment, I was thinking about leaving the site since I found what I was looking for. But, I talked with my Sub and we both agreed to stay on to still try to get to know other like minded people.

I found a couple of people I've connected with. Although after a bit of time they didn't work out for different reasons. But recently met someone else here and it's going well. None of us expected or were looking for a connection yet it happened. Early days though so who knows. It does happen.

I think its more complicated than one might initially think. 1) Kink is just like any other relationship interaction. Its all about how you present yourself, how you interact with others, and how much effort, time and honesty you offer up. 2) Good things take time. 3) Vet your choices like you would any other relationship. 4) Report pay-for-play and OF/JFF/whatever profiles, as that is against the terms of service here. It helps "cull the herd", and keeps our community open to interactions between people who don't want *** to be a prerequisite to interaction 5) RELAX. Good things take time. Enjoy the experience and be casual. Its not the end of the world.

Yes, it's really difficult to get replies from women. I think they just get too worn out by fakes, time wasters and wannabe's. Every site and app is the same really. It's soul destroying for women and men for different reasons.

@grand-rapids360 I can't say I agree with that statement I think it's equally as hard for women and men. Us females well we get the men who think we going to submit just they say so some don't even want to get to know you they just want to jump right in and find out our kinks without doing any kind of leg work first.

It depends on patience and time, getting to know people and them you.

See if people your talking to etc are meeting up at events and especially Munches.

There is no quick fix, some lucky ones hit it off quite soon while others can take years, but in my experience it's getting your face known, and above all trusted, this takes time.

Building a good real life scene friendship base will help immensely.

Sitewise it can be hit and miss, you have to learn the MO of the fakes and learn to let it not get to you and just forget them.  Posing questions or answering ones you think you can have some input to on the forums etc may help a little.
