Cu**** Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 I feel like filters make me feel cute. My favorites give me sparkles. I feel like feelings on this are influenced by age. For people who grew up with filters being a thing its normal to expect and like. It’s not really deceptive IMHO when you are basically pre programed to think that filters make you look better that a doggie ears and tongue is *the* pic to have and super normal. However, i think the person viewing the photos should understand their feelings on the matter (understanding visual attraction is important for themselves) and address it first with a hey i’d love to see a genuine picture of your face. Before doing anything else. (Great first message too!) For someone like me who likes to use filters all the time this direct statement is not offensive. From there as long as you aren’t mean in being like “oh darn didn’t know you were that ugly. Bye!” Then everything should be fine for both parties.
