Hi can someone explain to me what the difference is between ABDL and DDlgbg please

 

I'm confused as I like all of the hot and horny BDSM stuff, I wear fet wear. I'm also a baby girl, I wear my hair in pigtails, I love all things cute and sparkly as fuck, and I love Hello Kitty almost as much as I love my real kitty, I wear my cutesy outfits and plastic panties over my cute knickers. If I'm depressed or overwhelmed I'll wear a diaper because I need the comfort (I don't expect a Daddy to be involved on that front as I know that not all Daddies think that is cute) and I have a paci too, if I had a Dom I'd call him Daddy, I love rules and a cwtch  (Welsh for hugs if anyone wonders) and discipline. So how does this dynamic differentiate from the world of ABDL?

ABDL - is Adult Baby / Diaper Lover.   Which can be any gender and someone who is effectively an adult baby and some form diaper play is a big part.

DDlg - is Daddy Dominant / little girl - and DDbg is Daddy Dominant / baby girl 
And in this case there are stuff which is a bit more stricter on the gender but like a lot of things there might be a lot of overlap.  It might not be that diaper play is part of those, but, well, might not.     ABDL definitely involves different forms of diaper play - I've actually just been doing some work for someone today with a lot of ABDL content and there's stuff like wetting, enemas, changing diapers, vibrator on diapers, etc

Very short sighted. With ABDL, the age is clearly established, namely a newborn, so parenting from birth. With DD/lg the age is variable and the little can be older, for example 5 or 6

Ok… firstly the thing with any of this is everyone is likely to have their own take on this. Any label will have its own slightly different meaning depending on who you talk to. But here’s my understanding: ABDL is adult baby diaper loving, often involving diaper wearing and infantilism, may or may not have a Daddy necessarily as some do not like the connotations of that. How much it is sexualised or involve other bdsm practices also varies. DDlg/bg Daddy Dom little girl/baby girl may or may not involve any age regression, may or may not involve diapers, probably does involve a Daddy role (surprisingly…). Again how much is sexualised or involve other bdsm practices varies.

Much like most other things it’s about finding what works for you which bits you want to include and what you don’t and finding someone that integrate with and compliments that (all be it with some likely compromises to suit both parties).

So to kinda touch on this rather than go into either in touch much depth the best way to explain is ABDL leans more into the diaper play side and the further age regression side of it having everything done for you by the adult portrayed in the dynamic. DDLG/BG leans into the age regression side but not as far allowing to have the cargiving mentoring side in the dynamic you find that in this it I'd helpful for people who like or require structure of rules to guide them. I could go into this so much more but not sure how many words I get haha hope this helps a little bit.

You can be into both or either, or one individually. Some see DDlg as a role play only, some see it as a lifestyle and/or serious kink. For me personally, I identify with age regression, not age play. I love and feel I need, DDlg but am not into ABDL at all. I don't "play/act" younger or a certain age. I adore DD over just a Dom as I feel you get to experience both sides of a man, the softest and emotionally available for both partners, and the most natural/***istic and as rough as agreed side. I don't do pacifiers, nappies etc, I just enjoy being able to do all the cuddles, washing each other, cooking together, being read to, colouring in, bonding sessions basically after rough bdsm etc intimate times.
I grew up quick, so everything became serious, independent, mature fasttttt so I guess it makes sense I enjoy this dynamic a lot but still with all of the fun add ons such as toys, restraints, bondage, ropes etc!

It does help, thanks for the response. My experience sounds similar in the respect that I had to grow up fast too. I see the DDlgbg dynamic as a safe space to be *** (and a kinky fuck 🤭) a I have issues letting that side of myself show in my everyday life 💖 Do you find that too?

Yeah, definitely!
It's strange how people automatically look down at adults being young and carefree, enjoying themselves being silly but in reality, it's just a societal pressure because people assume they have to act 'accordingly'.
I feel people poke fun at anyone who dares to be bold enough to be silly in public and its sad really.
But I'm glad there's others like us (the DD's) who are also men who feel restrained in that responsibility but DDlg allows them to just be themselves and have an open bond with another🥰
