For me a 100% online relationship is pointless as it only fulfills a small part of a relationship & in many cases I feel people want a purely online relationship because they aren't being honest about their situation, i.e. they're not really single or just playing at D/s because they like the attention

I've had long distance, mostly online relationships but unfortunately I have had a few abusive Dd/lg relationships.
My long distance boyfriend/Daddy Dom lives in America & I live in England, so we re in different timezones it makes communication difficult. We both don't have a lot of ***, or a passport and are
afraid to travel on a airplane.
I love my boyfriend and I am loyal to him, i'm not f*****g up my relationship for something temporary with someone that doesn't love/care about me like my boyfriend does.
Obviously this type of relationship/dynamic won't work for some people, i'm sexually repressed, i'm not obsessed/addicted to sex and I don't do casual sex, i'm selective of who I trust, or do kink with, so it means a lot to me that my boyfriends loves me and cares about me after having abusive relationships. I have my own reasons to not always feel safe with a man in a sexual context, or to feel overwhelmed, anxious and feeling like I can't fully open up to a guy and be myself, without being judged, shamed, rejected/abandoned just for being myself.
Not every Dom has the patience, respect, compassion, empathy & experience to have a successful relationship/dynamic with a shy, self-destructive sub. Just my opinion about that.
Some subs have experienced, ***, trauma so it's harder to trust a potential Dom especially when you don't know them or what their intentions are. Not everyone has the option to make their dynamic a irl dynamic due to distance,lack of *** ect..

Online can never truly get beyond roleplaying because it lacks real life physical intimacy. There is no touch, no kiss, no physical *** or pleasure, no sharing of one another physically. It’s also too easily ***d by “online Doms” looking for masturbatory material while running through multiple subs like water, indifferent to whether the subs get attached. IRL is the only true dynamic.
