In my experience there are a lot of people who just want porn and interactive texting porn is even better. I’m not into it. I have in fact become jaded to it. And the ghosting- how stupid. Why can’t you just say “I changed my mind” or anything?’often it happens immediately following some declaration of loyalty! Tells me he just came…

It's my experience that OL is a good introduction but RT contact is important for me. I spent 6+ years ol as a submissive man. My Dominant were mostly male. One of the Dom male pimped me out to local men. He lives in Palm Springs and I lived in southern Minnesota. A very close friend suggested strongly that I needed to become involved rt with the lifestyle. I found a welcoming lifestyle coffee. I was accepted by them and I began rt experience and education for the past 11 years. Covid has has made it difficult for me

I think online can have a certain purpose depending on the situation. As a newbie, an online relationship was perfect - learning lots of new things and pushing through those internal vanilla boundaries in the comfort and security of my own home. I also had a lovely connection with my dom so it wasn’t just sex and I felt the trust and respect people talk of in d/s dynamic. Like any relationship it takes lots of communication and you need to be on same page with respect to your needs.
But, like many others, I’m keen to also experience irl relationship now :)

I think irl relationships are better

Hi all.

I believe that online D/s does work, and be as meaningful as IRL.

Online is not a substitute for IRL though. Hoping that online will meet the same needs and recreate the best elements of IRL is going to lead to disappointment.

If both people understand the limitations, are honest with themselves (and each other) about it not being a facsimile of IRL it offers wonderful opportunities for learning, exploring and building meaningful connections.
