You can only gift icons to profiles that don't have any already - if you click on a profile there will be a banner near the top of the profile that either indicates how many icons the profile owner has collected or will give you the option to gift them one.

All the clues are in this forum thread, you just need to expand your comments and scroll back.  Whenever you are struggling to find the clues via the app, pop over to the Mobile Desktop version of the site using www.fetish.com via your phone browser and head to the same forum thread and at the top of the page you will find a quick link clue glossary which will take you to each of the days clues so far.   

I have attached a few of the clues so far, this is not all of them but there are several others if these don't help.
