To clarify I'm due to have brain surgery within the next few months/year 

it's an irreversible operation and could conceivably result in deterioration of my condition or death if it doesn't work out 

So when I mention it being over I'm referring to the fact that whatever happens when it's over I won't be the same

Thankyou it's all good I'm lucky they're offering me the surgery because I'm a good candidate
I have early onset asymmetrical Parkinson's disease
I'd never complain about my lot because there are people suffering far worse and that includes people who are being held down by being overworked and still not able to survive
I'm lucky enough to be retired but struggling so I'm lucky in a way
I also find that DJing is great therapy for me
But the post wasn't supposed to be all about me but to express and explain to the short strong one
