Provoke Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 I’m getting a new sling and have been looking for what I thought was a simple answer; how do you install it? Specifically I want to know how far out should you place the ceiling bolts. Any advice or recommendations about installation would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Deleted Member Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 I assume you mean height down from ceiling? As close as possible to minimise and bend. The rope/chains will do the rest. Please ensure the ceiling bolts are into a beam or rafter.... a modern house may need additional support in the loft of upstairs as beams not as thick as floor beams. I’ve not fitted one but opinion is from a practical point of view, an engineers mind!
