I can live with no sex if we are doing other things. For me it's about the connection. Having someone to hold, caress, kiss and other forms of sexual play. Not sure I could have zero sexual play at all though.

Speaking from experience, I chose no sex. It only adds to the sexual frustration and is unfulfilling. Jerking off was far more rewarding. We switched to open relationship.
