(I apologize in advance. I'm a bit rusty in this department.)

From a sub's POV when their Dom disappears on them. A lot of recent convos in the forums have sparked this.

 

When left hanging and waiting in the shadows
I will wait a while to see if you come back
The silence is a void I can only tolerate so long
When the void starts speaking to my demons
I stay just a little longer
Hoping for your return
But then I decide it's been so long
You aren't coming back for me
Time to step off "Our" path
And back onto mine
