Cuckolding and hotwifing are not the same thing - at least from the psychological stance. Whilst physically the manifestations are basically the same, the psychological nuances are actually different. Being cuckolded ‘can’ be seen as a submissive act, whilst hotwifing is a different type of approach for both partners.
It is possible to combine the two though.
