I do agree...although I would imagine that the feeling of being rejected would play a big part in opening up.as well of the thought  of losing someone  you love..!

that's why there are spaces that exist - whether it's online : like this forum/website - munches, dungeons, events... that people do feel they can be themselves and talk freely with no/limited judgement.
