Deleted Member Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 Hi , just seeking some advice is it correct that a candle that has a colour burns hotter than a white candle? thank you for your assistance in advance
Deleted Member Posted August 16, 2019 Author Posted August 16, 2019 I'm not sure on the colour thing, but candles can burn at very different temperatures. Essentially if they burn slow the wax is probably pretty hot so church candles is probably a no go for play time. Play candles are special low temperature ones and great fun without costing the earth.
ey**** Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 no. that's a myth different waxes can burn different heat and it's important to ensure you pick up candles designed for wax play what you want is safety candles or soy wax candles. you should avoid other types of candles especially religious, scented, big ones and never, ever, beeswax. Get a feel by trying on your own skin before trying on others - the heat can also differ depending on how far the wax drops - the further the drop the more time it's had to cool.
