Deleted Member Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 losing hand in cards..To be faced with a lifelong struggle to be accepted...to meet a partner that you can spend the rest of your life with...to be fulfilled emotionally and physically..!. I had a Tarrot card reading...Not really prepared to take it seriously...but now , so much of my past was referred to...my struggle to meet my second soulmate..It was scary.. Even my loves were interpreted by the cards I chose in such a way that reflected me in so many ways.. Can a Tarrot card reading really affect how one chooses to continue ones life.. Would you dismiss it out of hand ..or would you really wonder if there is something in it that . Cassie.

I would say that the cards help trigger images and thoughts that you may not otherwise have had, which then helps to create the future. I am not saying that the cards predict the future, as nobody can do that. They do, however, give insights into the energies around at the present which can help understand that and thus create a future which benefits from these insights. Could you possibly get the same insights using other tools? Yes, but on the other hand the modern Tarot deck has been around since 1400 (originated in Milan at the court of Visconti Sforza) with the more modern interpretations (Rider-Waite) being published around 1910. So, the cards have found use for 100s of years. That itself should give food for thought.

They show the path you’re on, however you can choose to change whatever you are not happy with. What the cards tell you is not set in stone, it is simply a guide & reference to the path in which you have travelled to get where you are & where you could go.
ey**** Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 it's true that sometimes the deck is stacked against you. it's also true that you can sometimes feel others are hitting all the right cards but sometimes it's a case of what you do with them knowing when to fold and wait for the next deal, knowing when to walk from the table. and, of course, sometimes not getting overconfident when you seem to have been dealt things favourably.

Many of us are spiritual, religious, scientific and, but not always, a mixture of all three. A tarot reading can affect any of us depending on our beliefs. Personally I'm spiritual and my beliefs are quite, umm, a mixture. Life is what you make of it. If you feel like you've been dealt a bad hand, well admit that you cant win. Shake it off. Change something, begin again, and continue. You're different, we all are, we're not meant to find the easy path, but the best one. And that doesn't happen without finding a few bad eggs along the way 🙂 Your past is who you were but doesn't define who you are for the future. Learn but dont accept. Become dont change.
