Ri**** Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 No. Natural reaction to joy, sadness, relief or trauma.
Deleted Member Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 I have no reaction anymore. My brain won’t let me cry

I also find it embarrassing to cry. This is no different and to say that it is would be a massive double standard! The fetish Dacryphilia betrays the translation Tears of Love. Such tears are shared and never wasted. Nor are they born of embarrassment.
Deleted Member Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 I love it!! It makes me feel amazing plus the relational side of it where I’m *** to my partner makes it really great!
Ga**** Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 Yes I still find it a bit embarrassing, but I'm adjusting to being able to actually express/show my feelings now. I was brought up the old way
Deleted Member Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 Yes, If I’m going to I leave the room to be alone shed a few tears and come back. It is very very hard to not be ashamed of it.
Bl**** Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 I don't think embarrassing is the way I think of it it's more of a *** that people will see me differently after they see me cry
Al**** Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 My precious Domme enjoys seeing me cry. It was her kink. It was done in a private setting. In public, it may be a double kink. Most likely I may feel embarrassed and also turned that it pleases my Domme.
Pe**** Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 I haven't shed a single tear, since 2008, when my mom passed away on Valentines Day 2008.
Sean-9301 Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 I mean I do cry and it's not embarrassing at all actually
SK**** Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 Hell no. I lead with vulnerability. Consequences be damned. If anyone has a problem with it or if it makes them uncomfortable or they try and use my vulnerability against me, they're gone.
cr**** Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 What kind of crying? Whether I'm embarrassed or not depends on the context.
ka**** Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 The only time I cry is whenever my contact lens gets a small tear in it. Burns like molten hell fire
Ri**** Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Not really, I cried when my mum passed away and my dad too (much younger then) as a man you need to be strong and unrelenting at certain times but imo it’s ok to cry amongst the right people
ka**** Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 As a dude, u have to keep frame. Especially in public.

Why is crying weak? I’d argue that it’s pretty cowardly to avoid feeling your true emotions and if you feel weak or ashamed for crying then that in of itself is a weakness. Real men aren’t scared to feel and show their emotions. Suppressing your feelings and hiding them is why men are killing themselves.
ka**** Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 I think it shows weakness, because with few exceptions it is indicative of a loss of emotional control.
dl**** Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 I should hope not. Emotional vulnerability is important when it comes to relationships. Sometimes crying is a natural byproduct.
Bo**** Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Crying is a healthy thing to do when needed. No shame should be felt if you need to cry. Bottling up emotions or trying to always "control" your emotions does more damage to your mental health, makes men more violent and leads to higher incidences of ***. Also, tears contain lysozyme which helps maintain clean, healthy eyes and ducts.
Sk**** Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Been learning how to recently. I went for over a decade without letting myself cry. Been doing therapy for PTSD and trying to let myself feel stuff again.
ro**** Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Embarrassing? Yes, although being able to cry in front of someone and feel comfort instead of embarrassment is always nice
