Dom vs brat

Hello very new here.. 

Have been interested in the lifestyle for a while.. have always wanted to be submissive but have a rebellious streak.. 

A friend helped me to realize that I identify as a brat.. but my partner is a dom and I prefers a full on sub..

He doesnt mind that I am a brat and would like a challenge but I joined the forum as I really do have a desire to please him and dont want to push too far.. 

Always open for advice..

Is it possible for a brat to become fully submissive?

My brattish tendencies carry over to daily life 

I am not mean spirited but definitely  back talk and test my limits

I'm not sure how much of an issue this will cause in the relationship

Weve been together about 6 months.. no issues yet but things are getting serious enough that I expressed wanting to try more and implement a reward vs punishment system

it's something to play by ear - while he may have his preferences, you seem to be working so far.  Keep open communication. "too far" could vary, so working out boundaries is healthy for you both.
