Ve**** Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Hi all, Do any of you have experience with blackout lenses? Lately I came across them multiple times and my interest got peaked. I have goggles and no lenses, so no experience wearing any. - is it different to a more traditional blindfold? - how opaque are they? - is it worth it? Please no direct Links. Wouldn't want any of you get into trouble. Thanks for any feedback! VeeTee
Ch**** Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I've heard that the white opaque (not checkerboard mesh) is effectively blinding...all you see is white. It's definitely a goal to find out for ourselves.
De**** Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I have seen blackout lenses on a few occasions used for total sensory deprivation therapies and couldn't help notice that they looked almost identical to a set of Oakley's. I also convert camper vans and recently installed privacy glass windows but needed them a bit more "private". Putting 2+2 together, I gave it a try.
Ka**** Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Another day o saw blackout contact lenses and I though It was definetely wild! I asked a friend of mine to use It in a session, but she was scared about It and dind't go further on it. But my curiosity stills.
