New to a Breath Control and ***d Poppers

Recommended Posts

I’m new to breath control but have been experimenting a lot with SIR holding popper soaked rag over nose and mouth for extended periods... until I’m loose and relaxed enough for his needs, not mine. I’m looking at surprising him some kind of breath control gear.

I’ve seen a few things with and without re breather bags - I was wondering if anyone could explain the differences in the scenarios.

any explanations would be HUGELY appreciated. I live in a bit of a gay black hole and kink and fetish is not found locally. Hoping to find a few people who are willing to exchange advice further than this forum also.. BUT ANY ADVISE POSTED HERE I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR.

im hoping to get this gear bought or made (if diy) for Xmas and really please and surprise my SIR.

there's different types of bags and bottles and all sorts that can control breathing.

a couple of years ago I did a scenario where there was a bottle being used and, although there was a hole for air within the bottle - it was difficult to take a full inhale of air.  It was even more difficult when the lady I was with ***ed in the jar, thus decreasing it's volume and making it feel like there was less air than there was

I’ve seen this really gorgeous setup that is a 2L jar for *** etc and immediately if it is a T connector with a rebreather bag. Then up the hose to the mask. With having any people to meet with this kind of equipment I can’t figure out how and why gear is needed. There is so much online about other kinks we are intrested in but I am really struggling with breath play and the gear surrounding it.

Sruggling to get a full breath and the only breath I do get is rich with SIRS ***.. I’m feeling like I have to get the setup I mentioned!!

We’ll this is a subject dear to me! Unfortunately it’s been my experience that many folk are misinformed about popper and their effects. Also, It seems that hardly anyone understands or has even heard of hypercapnia and its effects, less still appreciate its benefits in a play situation. So I seem to regularly scare off people with my scenario ideas. Let’s get this clear: I only play safely, with the usual SSC rules. I don’t do CNC, and I certainly don’t want to die! So safe breath play and poppers administration is very important to me.

VanIsle, there are many “gas mask” type devices available but I have never found anything yet that combines the various features that I want, so I’ve made my own devices for such play. A key feature for me is the one way valve in a tee piece near the mouthpiece, ensuring the flow of air is only one way. Coupled to a rebreather bag, this can then allow closed-loop circuits to be made, with facilities for introducing poppers into the loop if required. Bags can be quickly and easily changed out to introduce more oxygen into the loop, or to introduce a pre-poppers-laden atmosphere to deliver huge amounts of nebulised poppers straight to the *** stream.

if all this sounds a bit extreme, it is! A really good understanding of physiology is required to do all of this safely. I’ve been a SCUBA diver for over 25 years and a free diver for over 15 years, so I understand what is going on in one’s body in such situations. You need to play with someone who has had the training, experience and understanding to do this safely. Otherwise you could end up one of those statistics relating to the often-seen headline: “Man dies in kinky sex game gone wrong”...

The power dynamics of submission to breath play and ***d poppers administration are phenomenal, especially when combined with bondage or restraint. The most spectacularly satisfying and memorable encounters for me have been in such situations. You just have to be patient enough to find the right partner, and as eyemblacksheep has commented in other threads, the more specific and niche one’s kink or fetish, the less participants are there to be found, so you either have to be very patient or else your next best option is probably to pay a professional to execute the scenario you desire. This way, you will get exactly what you are looking for.

It’s a shame we can’t post pictures on here, as I could show you the one way valve, mouthpiece and hose system I made. I used two of the one way valves used in cheap dust masks. These were fastened into a tee piece that was originally part of a vacuum cleaner hose assembly. I used foam rubber as a gag/mouthpiece and a swimmers’ nose clip stops the whole device being bypassed.

The main benefit of a gas mask is that it fits the head really well and is secure. I suppose my ideal device would be a gas mask that I’ve modified to have the valves, mouthpiece and rebreather bag facility that I’ve described. I’ll get back to work on that now then...!

Freddy I am so glad you put my thoughts out so clear! I can’t never understand why some people would want to try breath play without knowledge !
Breath play is dangerous and deadly, adding to that some *** or poppers in that instance and you accelerate the factor danger by 75% risk. A brain without oxygen for too long and you end up vegetable.

i love breath play and watching my sub gagging for Air while playing  is a big turn on for me. I know what I am doing but I always stop at counting ten, regardless if I could go further or not.
play hard but safe

Thanks for your comments, Fab. One thing that free diving has taught me is being able to read my own body in a way that most people, I would say 99.9% of people, never can. When you are holding your breath and diving to say, 30 m deep where the pressure is four times that at the surface, massive physiological changes take place in your body involving shifts of massive volumes of ***, contraction of the spleen, contraction of the *** vessels and numerous other things. Like with anything, experience is key. Once you learn to read the signs, you can understand what’s happening in the body. to gain this knowledge and understanding, at first it’s best to do this sort of play with somebody who is experienced at it.

One thing is for certain: for most people in most situations, you are not going to pass out due to lack of oxygen before the buildup of carbon dioxide in your body makes you absolutely desperate to breathe. One thing that can really change this easily is hyperventilation, where you have flushed out too much carbon dioxide from your body, resulting in a situation where your body does not feel the need to breathe. This can be very dangerous indeed. Carbon dioxide in your body is your friend. It tells you that you need to breathe and triggers a response in your brain which causes the diaphragm muscles to contract and therefore you breathe. Without this, you can die of oxygen starvation to the brain.

All of this is extremely relevant in breath play situations. Having a good understanding of the physiology of the body makes a huge difference to your levels of stress and relaxation, which in turn massively contributes to the enjoyment and fulfilment of the session. If you don’t understand your body, and more importantly, if your Dom does not understand your body, you are not going to relax fully in such a situation because you will be stressed about wondering if you are going to die or not! This is not good!

Poppers dilates the *** vessels, resulting in a lowering of the *** pressure, this in turn resulting in an increase in heart rate. In moderation, this is fine. Excessive use can lead to a starving of the optic nerve of oxygen, resulting in temporary disturbances to the vision, although this usually remedies itself within a few days or a week. Certainly that has been my experience, and this has been backed up by scientific studies. Many scientific studies have been carried out on the effects of the use of poppers and to date, nobody has come to any conclusions that indicate any significant risk, as long as it is used properly. Ingestion is extremely dangerous and can kill you, so it’s really best to use a short tube between the nose and the rim of the bottle. Also, the fluid will burn the skin, leading to soreness, redness and ultimately necrosis of the tissues around the septum and the nostrils, so that’s another good reason for using a short length of tube, so that your body does not ever come into contact with the fluid, just the vapours. Most people sniff poppers directly from the bottle, which in my opinion is not a great idea, especially with a new bottle that is nearly full. Also, when under the influence of poppers it can be difficult to coordinate one’s movements and hold the bottle straight, leading to an increase in the likelihood of spilling it.

Poppers or nitrites, as they are scientifically known, have been used to treat angina for many years. it is the fact that they increase the heart rate and dilate the *** vessels that makes them very good for this. however, they grab any oxygen that is available and therefore it’s not recommended that people who have low oxygenation, pulmonary or breathing problems use them. combining poppers with Viagra can also be very dangerous as it can lower the *** pressure to a dangerously low level, leading to ***ness. If you are fit and healthy though, it is possible to combine them to unbelievably amazing effect! again, you need to understand your body and recognise what’s going on. Literally, not for the faint of heart…

I’m not a doctor of course. However, with the greatest of respect to all in the medical profession, I probably know more about breath holding, free diving and poppers use than most in that profession. This is a really complex subject that I have barely even scratched the surface of. I could probably write a book about it! Apnea on its own can be quite exciting, especially if ***d and administered by a Dom. Limits need to be agreed, methods of signalling a SafeWord or safe signal need to be agreed and great respect and care needs to be exercised by all involved.
