I Remember

I remember the first time we spoke, it was as if we were ***agers again.

The butterflies in my tummy

Our conversation was polite, light and fun, like being at a carnival when we were kids

We spoke about champagne, music and childhood memories

You were intrigued by my memories, as I was yours

You lead the conversation, being a gentleman

You laughed, I giggled as I always do

The first time we heard one another’s voice was magical

My hair stood on end, the goosebumps…

My giggle was just as you imagined

And as our time together grew, so did our bond 

Such fun we’ve had 

Making memories and plans

Do you remember?
