I Need To Know

This is a poem that addresses the issues of angst and *** of loving two people equally but feeling the jealousy of not wanting to share either with anyone else. It’s about a greedy lover’s dilemma of ***ing the loss of a relationship with either of their playmates and the guilt (or lack thereof) of being unfaithful and unfair to them both. Bring on the polyamory!

I need to know.

I need to know that you want me.

I want to know your needs, see?

I have to know how it will happen

When you my fantasies unfasten.

I need to know your internal desires.

I want to know what stokes your fires.

I have to know how your passion grows

When your fiery lust for me shows.

I need to know that I’m good enough.

I want to know I’m not just your “fluff”.

I have to know that I’m right for you

And that your loyalty will shine through.

I need to know that your heart’s on fire.

I want to know that it’s you I inspire.

I have to know that you’re all mine

And that our bodies will entwine.

I need to know that if I were shared,

I want to know that you still cared.

I have to know that my other playmate

Will not cause you, me to hate.

I need to know that in my wildest dreams,

I want you to know that you’re there, it seems.

I have to know that you understand

That to share my love was never planned.

I need to know that you’re satisfied.

I want to know that to me you’ve never lied.

I have to know that I really do it for you

Because my utter devotion to you is true.

I need to know that although I’m divided,

I want to know that you’re decided.

I have to know that you’re only mine,

Even to the end of time.

I need to know that even though

I want to know my other “sideshow”,

I have to know you’ll not reject me

Despite my shocking infidelity.

I need you to know that every day,

I want to join with you in every way.

I have to know the both of you however,

And I’m hoping it’ll be like this forever.

I need to know that you’ll accept this thing.

I want to know that your fun you’ll still bring.

I have to know that you’ll embrace the situation

And between the two of you there’ll be no altercation.

I need to know that I have you both as mine.

I want to know that we’ll all have a great time.

I have to know that this to us is not dangerous,

So darling please can we three be polyamorous?

As a Dominant who enjoys polyamory, I enjoyed this poem and relate to it. A little bit difficult to read, I struggled to find a rhythm, but otherwise it was good. I am definitely one who ***s asking for polyamory, but I know there are those out there who also enjoy it, so you just have to be open and honest about your desires.
