Is this a new thing, or am I just now noticing…

My last long-term lg/sub & gf used to turn around and stare at me and smile, happy that she had a caring Daddy. That was new at the time.

Now 2 submissives later, I’ve taken note that they too did/do the same thing, and do so most often while stroking/scratching my beard.

Submissives, is this something that younger subs do or is it common and I’m only now noticing?

Clearly you’re doing it right. Make sure the smile makes it to her eyes. If it’s there, it’s probably real.

I don’t think it’s necessarily a younger or older thing. It’s an admiration of their dom, taking “you” and/ or the moment in. 😌 don’t interrupt the moment.

Maybe you are becoming a better Dom and partner, worthy of such smiles.

This isn't a man/woman, Dom/sub, or even kink/vanilla thing.

It's relatively common for people who are super into someone in whatever way to look at/watch them with admiration because they simply really really like them and/or love them.

My guess is you're just noticing it.

That's very common with those who truly admire their partner. It can be a submissive doing it or a Dom or a vanilla person.

I HAVE noticed it before in vanilla relationships. Often. It’s just new for me in D/s DD/lg dynamics.

Maybe I’ve learned to open up and share more with subs than I did previously.

That very well could be the case then

I can’t speak for all girls, but for me I like doing that too and I’m not young. I love laying on a man’s chest an looking up watching him watch tv an breathe. I like watching a man chew guy. I’m a watcher voyeurism is my kink.  Also if I’m satisfied, super attracted, or in a playful mood.

It's not a new thing just not everyone does it.

It's a common one among people whose choice for expression of love is touch oriented as looking deeply into partners eyes then touching them in some way is there version of saying I love you without saying it verbally.

So if your partner is doing this take it as your doing things right and try to respond in your own 5 languages of loves appropriate way.
