Deleted Member Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Hi everyone looking for munches and social meetings in the Warwickshire area can anyone point me in the right direction? X
ey**** Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 if you google 'find a munch' it's probably the best directory for munches.
Mi**** Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 So I am also new and curious so I tried this myself and it came up with burger joints lol I also tried bdsm in my city and got strip/gentleman’s clubs. Maybe it’s just my city but do you have any other advice for searching for munches?
ey**** Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 In the UK we tend to have munches in pubs/bars and - annoyingly frequently in a Wetherspoons - the US is a mixed bag, but - yeah - Burger Joints are incredibly common meeting places for munches in the US. It is just a case of remembering that the meet is a set day/time and it's usually just a corner of the room and asking the bar/staff they might not necessarily know what is going on. I run a munch and we've never told the bar who we are or what we do they just recognise that once a month we all turn up and have a few drinks and a bit food.

ey**** Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 I have been in a mini-meet over your way : The Sir Richard Owen. Yay, more Wetherspoons! But, yeah, most have been around my way.

ey**** Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 the one I/we run is in Sunderland and we realised the other night it's been in the current venue for over a year which is the longest run it's had in a solitary venue for years : mixture of places closing down, or changing management, or refurbs... but yeah, current place is cosy and safe.
