Sa**** Posted July 21 Posted July 21 "I wasn't told, taught or encouraged about self-love, I had to love myself enough to learn how to use it. No one wanted me around, no one wanted to talk to me or even know who I was. I learnt that loneliness was hard but it gave me time to think, yes, I wanted someone special although at that time in my life I didn't believe it could be possible. So what changed? I changed, as much as I could. That change had to start with how I thought about everything, I had to learn to accept, embrace and take hold of life. I had to realise that there were going to always be the things I could and could not change. At a young age we really don't know much, someone said to me one "You don't grow a brain until 30" I felt that to be so true. I made bad mistakes in my 20's and 30's but most of it was from a lack of knowledge. It really does take time to learn and grow, it really does take years to be experienced in life." J.M. Preston
