You will need to unfollow the thread to stop the notifications.  If you are on the app, tap on the Me icon bottom right hand corner of screen, then tap on Forum heading.  Once in the forum, tap on Kink Academy forum heading, then tap on Treasure Hunt heading and it will take you to this thread. Once on the thread, tap on the three dots in the top right hand corner of the screen and a pop up box will appear and there you will find the option to unfollow the thread.

Can anyone tell me how I start? I read the directions but I'm still not sure on how I collect these icons

Gave you your first icon. There will be hints shared in this thread but just looking around the site will help you find the daily piece

You can hunt for icons by just having a look around the FET Universe, or alternatively you can use the clues in this forum thread that will hint you where to look.  Decipher the clues and then go hunting and if you are in the right place you will find a icon overlapped on the screen that forms part of an overall image which is revealed at the end of the hunt if you collect all 24 icons.  When you find the icon, tap on it and it will collect in your treasure chest and you will earn 30 points towards membership upgrade.  Currently 1 icon is available for collection. The 2nd icon will be released later today at 3pm UK time and clues placed in the forum shortly thereafter as members find the icon.  If you would like some further help, please feel free to drop me a line. 😊

Also If you are ever struggling to find the clues by expanding your comments, head over to the website via your phone browser sign on as an existing member using www.fetish.com and the same password/id you would use for the app and head to the same forum thread and you will find a quick link clue glossary at the top of the page, that will take you directly to the start of each day’s clues so far.

The Treasure Hunt is a way to learn the functions on the website and app. The clues tell you what part of the website, or what settings, you're supposed to check. If you understand the clue, you'll find an icon - which is a piece of the bigger puzzle featured in this particular treasure hunt.

 

Everyone who finishes the puzzle is earns points for each icon they find. To be eligible to win, there’s a bit more to it:

 

• giving away icons and then going to find them again. Giving away icons prompts more users to join the fun and learn about the website. Replacing the icons in your puzzle helps you learn the site by repetition.

 

• posting in the Treasure Hunt forum thread to help people understand the hints keeps one in the running. Normally one would think that being selfish and sneaky and not helping others would benefit oneself, but it actually does a disservice because it keeps others from getting motivated on how to use the site. So the more competition you lead into this game, the better your chances of winning. 

 

If you're on the website and scroll to the very top of the Treasure Hunt topic, you'll see a list of numbers corresponding to the hints for the day. If you click a relevant number, you'll see the different versions of hints for that day.

 

I've found it helps to make and update a copy of the grid with notes on where I found what image, so that I'm not flailing too hard to replace icons.
