Ok, Dom/mes what attracts you to subs? Myself I look for a certain level of maturity, someone who supervises others at work, someone who doesn't need to be micromanaged in every aspect of their lives.
Intelligence and a sense of humour are a must

Clear communication of needs. And respect for rules. Don't get me wrong brats are welcome your poking fun and finding loop holes means you paying attention amd willing to challenge me. But to disrespect rules that are there for your health and safety? Nope majored flag for me. Oh and a person who knows their limits. If you have told me I have no limits? I'm done immediately do not pass go.

Communicative, emotionally aware, consolable, dedicated, fun-loving.
If they act out they should expect my (possibly grumpy) attention, not just a punishment. The type of sub they are is not the determining factor for their worth in my life, so I must acknowledge that each new connection will take adaptation on my end.

In short:
Mindful subs are easy to love. Careless or non-communicative ones can be draining. It's impossible to know what they need.
