Upping your anal play game will take plenty of patience and practice, but if you want to add a little spice to your anal sex, here are a couple of in-depth (pun intended) suggestions for you to try.
Pegging is the term for sex with a strap-on, and pegging is for everyone - anyone with a butt can be pegged, and anyone can wear a strap-on. Various strap-ons designed for comfort are available, whether you have a penis or a vulva.
You don't need lots of equipment to get down to some pegging fun.
Talk about your scene before getting down to business. Check out what each of you expects and what you're comfortable with. This way, you can have everything you might need on hand, and you're more likely to have fun and relax if you talk through all your concerns beforehand.
Not sure which dildo to use? Well, it might be worth having a selection on hand to try. Also, make sure you start any pegging session by using your hands. Beginning with a finger or two helps both people involved get warmed up. Once you're ready to move on to a dildo, use one that has similar dimensions to other favoured anal toys. Remember, don't get too adventurous too soon!
It's always important to keep communicating with your partner, verbally and non-verbally. It's entirely okay for either partner to ask for the action to stop or slow down. You can check-in simply with a few words:
That makes the experience all the sexier! And of course, don't forget the aftercare.

So what else is there to try? If you're into power play, bondage and control, then maybe you should think about anal hooks. Anal hooks are made of metal with a ball at its end, and while the anal hook itself might not look too intimidating as it's doesn't have a wide shaft, the surprise is at the other end. Made so you can connect it to something else with a strong O-ring, the challenge of an anal hook is how it inhibits movement, which is perfect for BDSM play.

Anyone can use an anal hook with plenty of lube and practise. However, it needs some prior bondage knowledge, as to keep the anal hook in place, it needs tying to the person by way of a harness or to a hard point. Anal hooks can be used solo, but I don't advise starting that way. Have a partner who knows their way around to get you started.
